As the old saying goes, “Nothing is free, and you get what you pay for.” We are not the cheapest on every product although few can compete with us because of our low overhead costs. Great product along with great service is how we do it here at North Coast Ink. If you ever are treated with disrespect or in a rude fashion by one of our sales reps, we want to know about it. We do have a code of conduct and we will have a talk with them.
Back Orders/Out of Stock Items
In the unlikely event that we are out of stock of an item that's not listed as such on our web site we will contact you with the estimated shipping date at which point you can cancel your order if you choose. There are very few items that we ever have on back order. However, some rare items or items for machines over 10 years old may take us awhile to get to you; usually between 10-30 days. Some replacement cartridges can also be out of stock because of limited availability. In this case, you may want to back order enough to stock up on.
Claims on Shipments
All claims for damage, shortages, or any other shipping errors must be made within 3 days of your receipt of goods. Damage due to freight handling should be directed to the delivery company.
Most deliveries across the US take between 1-3 days.
Most original equipment (OEM) orders in the USA take 1-2 days depending on your shipping zone. Please contact us if you haven't received your order by the suggested times listed.
All in-stock items are shipped out that same day or within 24 hours of placement of order.
International deliveries will take between 7-10 days in most cases but are not guaranteed to get there in that time.
Returned Checks_Returned checks will be assessed a $25 fee.
Small Order Fees_On our original equipment products, you must buy $75.00 worth to avoid a small order fee of $3.00.
Late Payment (NET customers)_A finance charge of 5% interest per month will be assessed to all amounts past due.
Guarantees and Returns
Call us for an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number. You will need to place this number on the outside of the package you are returning the product in and also in the inside of the package.
North Coast Ink will only reimburse shipping charges on defectives if requested and if sent USPS Ground (Parcel Post).
We currently offer a 9 month guarantee from the date of purchase on our replacement line of products only. On all Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) products, we offer a 3 month guarantee due to manufacturer's stipulations.
All products are 100% guaranteed. We will replace, refund, or credit your account if the product is defective due to a manufacturer's defect. We will not cover any product that is not ours or sold via North Coast Ink Supply. We will also not cover any ink or toner product that is more than 50% empty based on weight, or has been damaged or abused by the end user. All remanufactured cartridges come with a unique identifier number on the label on the side of the cartridge. This number must remain in place for us to guarantee the cartridge.
Please return product/s with explanation of the problem and a detailed reason for the return. Send a printed copy if possible.
All non-defective returns will be subject to a 30% restocking fee and the purchaser must pay the shipping. North Coast Ink Supply is not liable for any products that do not make it to our facilities so you may want to get signature confirmation or delivery confirmation when sending it. No credit or refund will be issued until the returns are received and processed. All cartridges that are not accepted as legitimate returns will be disposed of unless request has been made for their return on your packaging slip. All returns returned to purchaser will be at his/her expense.
Unauthorized credit card purchases by a minor, if returned, will be charged a 20% restocking fee if the item has not been opened and a 30% restocking fee if the item has been opened but not used. North Coast Ink Supply will not credit any product that has been opened and even slightly used.Credit Card Cardholder (Name on card) is responsible for all such incidents. North Coast Ink Supply will only accept non-opened returns if they are returned within the warranty period; such returns will be assessed a 20% restocking fee.
Any cartridge that has been used will receive only partial credit. Credit will be applied only after cartridge has been weighed and paper work has been processed. Such items will be prorated.
0-25% used will receive 100% credit.
25-50% used will receive 50% credit.

Machine Damage Claims
All claims must include-
A detailed statement of the cause of damage from the repair technician along with the technician's phone number and address.
A receipt of repair charges from the repair technician.
***Inflated charges will not be honored.
***Problems such as this happen once in ten thousand times. This is a very rare situation because the majority of our replacement line of toner products utilizes the ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT MANUFACTURER'S shell. We have yet to deal with such a problem. We have this here to help build a trusting relationship between both parties and to let you know how confident we are in our products.
Payments-Terms and Conditions
Must fill out a credit application. An account will be set up and also a credit limit will be established.
All orders made over $1,000.00 must be paid within 10 days from date of shipment unless otherwise agreed upon by both parties and in writing.
All orders under $1,000.00 must be paid within 20 days from the date of shipment.
A finance charge of 3% accumulated interest per month will be assessed to all amounts past due.
If an account becomes 45 days overdue with no satisfactory response, the account will be terminated and turned over to a national collection agency without further notice. All expenses incurred by North Coast Ink Supply through collection agencies, down time, lawyer fees, etc. in trying to collect past due bills will be assessed to the customer's bill. Please do not be late on your payments; our pricing, product and service is too low and too good for us to have to drop you as a customer. We don't wish to ever do this.
Prices Subject to Change
All prices are subject to change without notice and upon availability of product.
No refunds on special orders.
If your company, church, or organization are tax exempt, we will need a copy of your tax-exempt status form as proof.
Same Day Shipping in Most Cases
On average, orders are shipped the same day, or the morning following the receipt of your order. All orders received after 3:00pm EST Friday and orders placed on the weekend will be shipped Monday morning.

First time orders over $300.00 must fill out a credit application It doesn't take too long to do and you will have an account with us.
Email or fax orders can be your standard PO or order form.
Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, and Mexico
There is an additional shipping charge of $6.00 (US dollars). Some other stipulations may apply depending on the product being shipped, shipping zone, and governmental duties and taxes. Also, all such orders from these locations require insurance on the shipping which is usually about $1.30 per hundred US dollars value.
Puerto Rico, Guam, US Virgin Islands, etc.
We are not able to cover the cost of insurance and postage for these places. Orders shipped to these addresses are done so at the customer's risk and will be shipped via US Postal Priority Mail.
AE, APO, AP, FOP
Most other online retailers will not ship to AE, APO, AP, or FOP addresses, but here at NorthCoastInk.com , we are happy to serve our customers in the armed forces, stationed at any AE, APO, AP, or FOP address. However because these addresses can be in remote places that are very difficult to reach, we are not able to cover the cost of insurance and postage. Orders shipped to military addresses are done so at the customer's risk since we are unable to track and confirm delivery once they enter the military mail system. Shipments will go out US Postal Priority Mail.
Apartments, and PO Boxes
We will only ship to these locations at your own risk. We have to do this because of some thefts that are more common with apartment complexes. Get the insurance added to your order so you are covered.
We only handle orders such as these if payment is made in advance with a Certified Money Order or Certified Check. Once we receive your payment, if it clears with the commercial banking industry, your product will be sent. This is due to scam-related fraudulent purchases being made via credit card from areas outside of the United States.
All orders must be paid in US dollars.
No refunds on special orders.
Recipient pays all duties and taxes required by their government.
Recipient pays all shipping charges and insurance costs.
Allow 10-21 days for delivery. In most cases, shipment should arrive within 7-14 days from receipt of payment.
You must fill out our Credit Application with at least 3 references.
We will only ship to apartments, PO Boxes or FOP's at your own risk.
Keep in mind that you can save some money on shipping by -
Ordering ahead of time before you actually need the product.
And going through the US Postal Service instead of FEDX, UPS, DHL, or other smaller carriers.
Please remember, once an order leaves our warehouse it is out of our control and the carrier is responsible for any unforeseen delays in your order's arrival. If you haven't received your order within 5 days of placing the order, please contact us and we will do our best to find the problem and help get it corrected.
